Welcome to the winter edition of Wandle News.
We have spent the last year making improvements to the services you need from us – in particular repairs and complaints.
We welcome the recent introduction of Awaab’s Law, and on page three you can read about what we are doing differently, and how we can work together to manage condensation, damp and mould in your home
Domestic abuse at any time of the year is unacceptable. Sadly, we know that Christmas can be used by abusers as an excuse to control and bully. Learn what domestic abuse is defined as, and the help that is available if you or someone you know is experiencing the scourge of domestic abuse on page two.
Our annual gardening competition, Greenfingers, was another success, and I was delighted to see photos of Francis Burrows visiting our finalists’ homes and their botanical creations.
We are really keen to have more residents work within Wandle and we welcome your applications. The valuable insight and experiences that you have help shape our service improvement activities. See page eight to find out how to keep abreast of roles we have on offer.
In this edition we’ve also included some ideas on free and affordable activities on page five that may be helpful over the Christmas break.
I wish you and your family a warm and safe Christmas.

Anne Waterhouse,
Chief Executive
