We work with a charity called InCommon who run monthly workshops with our residents and pupils from Belleville Primary School, and we are looking for more residents to join future intergenerational projects!

Why join? You can help primary school children build their confidence, conversation and empathy skills. It provides the children a learning experience they wouldn’t learn in school and Wandle residents who have joined the sessions previously have shared they feel more connected to their community and boosts their wellbeing. You can take part in as a little or as much as you’d like, and no previous experience of working with children is necessary. In one of our recent sessions, Wandle resident Brian showed the group morse code and how a string telephone worked!

If you would like to join our future intergenerational projects, please contact us at customerempowerment@wandle.com.

Take part in our residents’ photography competition for a chance to win a £50 Amazon Voucher!

We’re excited to launch our new residents’ photography competition, with this year’s theme ‘Housing in London’. We will choose two lucky winners, with each having their photo displayed in one of our resident meeting rooms. The photos will also be featured in our next issue of Wandle News. You can only enter once, and please only send ONE photo, your name and address to communications@wandle.com by Monday 18 May 2026. The lucky winner will be contacted shortly after this date and will be announced online via our Instagram and Twitter accounts. Good luck!
