Retrofit pilot – sustainable homes
The cost-of-living crisis and rising inflation have made us more aware of the amount of energy we are using in our homes. We want to provide the right homes for our customers that are warm, affordable, and energy efficient.
Currently, we are running a sustainability pilot at one of our properties in Norwood to understand the complexities of creating energy-efficient homes that are fit for the future. This includes improving the insulation of the walls, roof, and floor, installing new doors and windows, solar panels, and a new air source heat pump.
The results from this will be used to improve the energy efficiency of our current homes, ensuring that we are providing the right homes and the right services for you.
With that in mind, we know how expensive life is and are here to provide the right support if you are struggling to pay your bills. You can find more information on our ‘Getting help with bills’ webpage: www.wandle.com/money-matters/getting-help-with-bills/

Holiday activities and food programme (HAF)
The Government has confirmed they are continuing their HAF programme this Easter. The programme is designed to provide free activities and lunches for children aged from 4 years to 16 years old who are in receipt of free school meals.
If your family receives free school meals, you will receive a HAF code via email or text message. The code will give you access to the HAF webpage where you can book your child’s space for lunch and activities during the Easter holidays. If you have more than one child, you will get a code for each child.
If you haven’t received a HAF code and your child receives benefit related free school meals, or if you require any support with bookings, please contact your local council and they will be able to support you.
