Fire Safety Works

As part of our commitment to keep our residents safe in their homes, we carry our safety works to our buildings, which includes fi re safety measures.

At the end of 2025, we completed our safety works at Edwards House, which included removal of existing brickwork, cladding panels and decking. The cladding and decking were replaced with non-combustible alternatives, and the brickwork was replaced with brick slip.

We are pleased to inform you we are currently working on fire safety works at French, Finch and Margerat blocks. In November we welcomed Helen Hayes MP for Dulwich and West Norwood to view and discuss the works we are undertaking, which includes removing the current insulation with non-combustible materials. We will also be replacing the timber decking with fire-safe aluminium decking. The works are due to be completed by October 2026. We are also carrying out safety works at Pillfold House, including Remember to register to vote! the replacement of external wall cladding systems, firestopping for penetrations and openings, balcony decking and balustrades. These works are due to be completed in September 2026.
