What is the Right Support Project?
Our Corporate Strategy has three core priorities – Right Homes, Right Services and Right Support. The Right Support Project supports the Right Support priority and is aligned with our overall purpose to be a supportive Landlord.
Our aim is to improve the life for our residents by providing access to tailored support services.


Why are we doing this?
- Our main objective for the first year is getting to know our residents more so we can prioritise what support and requirements you need from us the most.
- By getting to know our residents, we can deliver a better service and design tailored solutions to build services that are responsive to the wide-ranging needs of our residents.
- We understand some of our residents are currently facing new financial strains each year due to the cost of living crisis.
- Ensure our housing management team have the support and tools they need to deliver the Right Service for our residents’ needs.
How will we help deliver this project?
- Getting to know our residents – you may be contacted by Acuity (the same company who are conducting our Tenant Satisfaction Measure Calls) on Wandle’s behalf to ask you some questions about you and your household.
- Define the support needs our residents require.
- Develop, test and explore solutions to meet the requirements of our residents.
Why our Right Support priority matters
Mr X is a very vulnerable resident who was referred to the Resident Support Team by his housing officer, with a request for support. After a house visit, we discovered Mr X had no working appliances in his home and therefore with the assistance of the Helping Hand Fund, we purchased a new cooker and fridge freezer. He was awarded vouchers for household goods and groceries. Through partnership working we were able to provide Mr X the Right Support and hopefully improve his quality of life. The Resident Support Team continues to work with Mr X, supporting any requirements he may need.
